Kristin & Steve {engaged} | Mukilteo Lighthouse Park & Beach

Kristin is one of those girls with a mischievous gleam in her eye that can get you on the next adventure quicker than you know what happened, and at the same time with a complete heart of gold and a depth of heart and wisdom that will take you into conversations that delve deep & wide.  If Kristin is the firecracker, Steve is the steady earth who keeps her on her feet on the ground.  Together they find the perfect balance, and I was more than honored to shoot their engagement session and capture some of the moments that make them so uniquely them.

Brian & Ann {happily ever after} | Monte Cristo Ballroom

Before they met, they were made for each other.  Throughout college and their young professional years, they were always each described as one of the kindest and nicest people you could ever meet.  When they finally found each other, it didn’t take long for them to realize that they wanted to do life together from now on.  Their wedding was gorgeous, the sun came out to wish them well, and friends & family gathered near and far to wish them a life as beautiful as their hearts.

When it came time for the best man to give the toast, he was mysteriously missing!  The groomsmen then proceeded to act out a hilarious skit about “the kidnapped best man” and whodunnit. ;o)

Congratulations Brian and Ann on your beautiful wedding!  Best wishes for a lifetime of priceless adventures, laughter, and love!

Special thanks to my wonderful second shooter Stephen Giang who helped capture some of these precious moments!

James & Trinh {the proposal}

Within the first month of meeting her, he knew he was going to marry this girl.

James and Trinh first met when their mutual passion for God and multi-cultural worship led them to volunteer for the same large-scale worship event.  Their courtship was a beautifully scripted relationship that bloomed with the spring, danced through the summer, and when the leaves started turning colors, he knew it was time to make it forever.  James chose to propose to his girlfriend at the neighborhood park that she and her sister spent many of their idyllic childhood days playing in.  On a crisp autumn day, he set the stage with the help of his brother and myself, picked up Trinh under the guise of a “family brunch”, and let the magic unfold.

Attached to each red rose was a note that expressed one of a million different reasons he loved her.

(At this point I’m hiding behind a tree with my thankfully super-long  sneaky zoom lens ;o)

As efficient as ever, James planned it so that we went from the proposal right into their engagement shoot, which of course just brimmed with laugh-out-loud love and joy.

I just love these two!  Blessings to the happily engaged couple for the love-filled years to come!

Mason & Emily | Newcastle Golf Club { happily ever after }

When Mason first approached me about shooting his and Emily’s wedding at the Newcastle Golf Club, my heart literally skipped a beat.  Ever since I was little, the Golf Club at Newcastle has been my absolute favorite place to go for sunsets and beautiful views of both Seattle and Bellevue.  I knew without a doubt that this would be one of the most gorgeous weddings I would get to cover in my career thus far.

I couldn’t have been more right.

Many thanks to my second shooter Stephen Giang who as always did a stellar job and helped capture some of the beautiful images below.

One of the many things that made their wedding unique was that our beautiful bride Emily had not one, not two, but THREE GORGEOUS DRESSES to wear throughout the day.  Every bride’s dream!

Mason and Emily rented this beautiful Bentley to pick them up and take them to their gorgeous venue.

Emily is just SO gorgeous!  She needs to be on the cover of a magazine:)

This gal on her knees cracks me up!:)

The shots below were my favorites of the day and make me want to go out and buy a field of wheat just so I can get these shots all the time:)

The ceremony site truly set the stage for a fairy-tale wedding.

And of course, what dream wedding isn’t complete without a DOVE RELEASE?  LOVE.

The presentation of the wedding cake was stunning.

Emily’s father has just about the coolest moves I’ve ever seen in a dad:)

Mason and Emily, it was truly an honor to be a part of your wedding day and help capture your beautiful story.  May your coming years blossom with love, grace, and joy!

Brittany & Daniel { happily ever after }

Brittany and Daniel were the first couple I got to celebrate with this wedding season, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to kick it off.  Their wedding took place on a sunny day on the bluffs in Discovery Park, and was overflowing with family & friends who all wanted to be there to show their love and support.  Truly, as their many guests flowed in and out and around them, it was a living testament to how loving and loved they are.  Just as every detail was carefully thought out and lovingly designed (Brittany being an incredibly talented graphic designer and artist), their celebration and the loving toasts made in honor of them made it clear why their union was just as equally beautifully designed.

Below are some of my favorites from their gorgeous wedding!  Many thanks to my second shooter Stephen Giang for helping capture some of the beautiful moments shown below.

Beautiful Brittany and her gorgeous flowers.

Daniel chose a more masculine pose:)

Daniel quickly decided he didn’t want to be left out. ;o)

One of my favorite moments of a wedding…

 I don’t know what this look was about, but suffice to say it was priceless.:)

I just loved Brittany’s understated yet elegant color scheme of yellow & silver!  So unique and classic.

Grand-daddy / daughter dance:)
I gotta admit, there was some dancing the likes of which I’ve never seen before…
But hey, it made good money:)

Congratulations Brittany and Daniel!  Wishing you a lifetime of love & happiness.  It was an honor to be a part of your momentous day and to become a part of your circle of friends!
A huge shoutout to the amazing vendors who helped make this a day to remember!
